While in some countries mass murders are becoming a regular, accepted occurrence, in Australia, mass murder through gun violence has been rare since 1996. The country did more than offer thoughts and prayers. Australian leaders had the courage lead transformation, build community support and took decisive action. This podcast briefly outlines actions taken against key themes that resulted in successful gun control and a safer society across Australia. That is something of national pride and a positive change I admire.

During Second Industrial Revolution advances in technology made it easier and quicker to produce more goods that were able to be sold at a lower cost. Industry 2.0 seen significant advances in agriculture, manufacturing and transportation that started in Britain, and made its way through Europe and North America, and then quickly to the rest of the world.
